I’ve always been a romantic at heart and grew up on a diet on movies such as Dirty Dancing, Sleepless in Seattle and The notebook to name but a few. However I am also a realist. I know, unfortunately, very few people get their real life “meet cute” by carrying a watermelon. Some need help. 

Aside from romantic movies, my other passions are languages and travel. I have studied and lived in both France and Spain including a 6 month stint in the City of Love - Paris. This is where my first match was made when I set up a blind date for two of my friends. Seeing their relationship flourish and grow gave me such joy, and throughout the years I have casually set up other friends and acquaintances who I just knew would click. I also founded the Aberdeen Chapter of Girl Gone International, an expat community for ladies and subsequently when I moved, I became the community manager of the Edinburgh Chapter where I got to help newcomers to the city meet new friends. Connecting people is my passion!

For the past decade, I’ve been in the business of finding people their dream jobs. I love getting to know what makes people tick. Getting to the root of their dreams and goals. Covid has been a big obstacle for many this year and unfortunately some people have had to put their hopes and dreams on hold due to being in lockdown. Now that an end is in sight with the vaccine, it’s time to start helping people realise their love goals. That is what Match Made In Scotland is all about - helping you realise your dreams.

Now you know a bit about me, its time to tell you what we’ve been up to … 

Whilst we only launched 3 weeks ago, we’ve been busy beavering away behind the scenes to ensure Match Made in Scotland will be the success we know it can be. Over the past few months we’ve attended over 50 trainings and webinars on everything from starting a company, building a website to SEO and digital marketing. We’ve also been liaising with a myriad of local professionals so that we can offer the very best in tailoring and creation of bespoke packages to meet your needs. Dating coaches, photographers and videographers, you name it - we can make it happen! Over 70 clients have signed up to our little black book in the last few weeks and had our first match! We have created a great survey to understand the current dating climate in Scotland and put together some great Black Friday Deals. December is looking like another busy month - thank you! We have three new clients booked in for consultations next week and on Friday our first group meeting with our videographer and photographer to scout locations for our first video. I feel like i’m running on adrenaline but I am on cloud 9. The support from friends, family and ex-colleagues has been absolutely phenomenal. Here at Match Made in Scotland HQ we are passionate about facilitating love in Scotland and invite you all to join us for the ride.
